Brenda Hale

“Bren” has a long history in the industry an has enjoyed seeing styles come and go and trends and fashions change. She has always been a hands on florist on the shop floor but has also taught evening classes to impart her wealth of knowledge. Bren’s natural style is flamboyant and colourful with elegant accessories to complete her designs.






Janet Simner

At Daisy Chain “Jan” runs the front of house ensuring that all customers are catered for and that the shop is organized and as beautiful as her high standards demand. With an extensive knowledge of garden plants Jan is a vital resource to any green-fingered enthusiast. She appreciates more elegant styles with a neutral colour pallet.






Karla Simner ANCF ICSF CertEd

Karla has been a florist for 10 years and has achieved NCL2, ANCL3 and a higher diploma in floristry (ICSF) level 4. With extensive competition experience getting through to the UK Skills final, winning the “mystery item design” at the RHS show Tatton Park and achieving the highest awarded grade in the country for her level 4 practical exam. With a natural flare for design and exceptional drawing ability Karla has created some amazing figurative sympathy designs in both 2d and 3d, from a vintage car to a turtle swimming in the sea. It was a natural progression when Karla began teaching recognized floristry qualifications and is proud to have had a 100% pass rate with her students. Having attended workshops with international designs she has an appreciation of worldwide design but would describe her own style as structure based with an emphasis on strong forms.



Helena Pike ANCF ICSF

A professional florist for 15 years Helena has achieved all the industry qualifications up to higher diploma in floristry level 4 (ICSF). A regular competitor in floral competitions she has been placed 2nd and 3rd in the society of floristry Sylvia competition and has recently qualified for “florist of the year” held at Chelsea Flower Show. After developing her style with workshops held by international designers Max Van De Sluis, Brigitte Heinrichs and Thomas De Bruyne she has an eclectic design style, which reflects her interest in floral line movement and form. With an interest in colour harmony Helena has created some unusual and bespoke designs incorporating the most current floristry techniques.




Jenny Moseley ANCF

Jenny has trained in floristry achieving her NVQ level 2 and 3 Advanced National Certificate. She has a wealth of knowledge and experience and is a creative, dynamic floral designer with a keen interest in wire work and loves a tropical pallett. Jenny is inspired by current floral designers and enjoys incorporating their techniques into her own work to create amazing modern displays.
